Yet it is a dismal prospect for a business owner to see his or her life's work being sold out of the family or run into the ground on account of family disagreements. But it happens all the time.

We take a holistic approach to our clients who own their own businesses. We try to assess the strengths and weaknesses of would-be heirs and develop strategies that will compensate other family members for not inherriting the business.
